1. Drops of Jupiter by Train
I had originally heard a shorter version of this on American Idol, about two years back. I really liked it, and now I recently got to listen to it again. Hence, I thought I’d share this amazing track with everyone else.
To begin with, I’d like to say that I do not like Marvel more than DC. I consider both of them to be equally good. That being said, I was not immoderately excited about the Avengers. I mean, sure I had watched Captain America, Thor and The Hulk in the theaters, and the Iron Man movies on BluRay, but even then, my excitement was limited. To be honest, I found all the Marvel movies, with the exception of Iron Man, to be lacking in some way or the other. I guess it’s because I was expecting too much. Don’t get me wrong, they were some really good movies, but I did not feel like they were up to the mark (like the Dark Knight, for example).
Therefore, I my expectations were limited. But then everything changed as I watched the trailers and looked into what the Avengers was. I even took the liberty of watching the original animated movie of the Avengers. That is when I developed interest and looked forward to the movie. I waited, and waited and now I have been rewarded for my patience.
My excitement had developed to such an extent that I had that wide grin on my face when I woke up today. I buzzed with excitement as the movie started. Literally. And even after the movie ended, the feeling was still there.
Yes, people. The Avengers is a success. It even comes close to being a masterpiece.

For him, he was the world, the only support of his three children, the only love of his loyal wife. For the one three metres away, he was no one. A scum who had to be eradicated. A blemish on the face of this Earth. A sinner whose only sin was being born. Continue Reading
